Who Can Attend

To register for and attend an AAMC meeting, you must be affiliated with an AAMC member institution, a non-profit medical education or professional organization, or a college or university. Please note that commercial representatives are not permitted to register for the meeting unless they are approved exhibitors or sponsors.

AAMC Health and Safety Protocol for In-Person Meetings

The AAMC continues to support vaccination for all as a way to reduce the severity of infection, and continues to believe high-quality, well-fitting masks are effective in reducing infection. While we will continue to encourage attendees to be vaccinated and wear masks in all venues, there are likely to be gatherings associated with this meeting with people who may not have been vaccinated and we recognize that mask wearing is now optional. Moreover, there have been reported instances of transmission of the COVID-19 virus even among vaccinated people who are not wearing masks (for example, while eating and drinking). For this reason, attendees should consider and determine for themselves whether they are comfortable with the risks associated with different events (e.g., indoor vs. outdoor, masked vs. unmasked, AAMC-controlled vs. public space).

The AAMC is the sole source for current email and mailing lists of AAMC meeting attendees. The AAMC is aware of individuals and companies that may be aggressively marketing such lists, however, they DO NOT have access to AAMC attendee email and mailing lists. The AAMC has NO affiliation with such third parties. Please be vigilant if approached by any service other than AAMC regarding AAMC meeting attendee email and mailing lists.
